Jazz Chisholm Jr. Could Be On The Trade Block
4 months agoAccording to The Miami Herald's Craig Mish, there is a growing belief that the Miami Marlins will trade outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. at this year's trade deadline. Chisholm's stock is up this year, mainly due to the fact that he's managed to stay healthy to this point. The 26-year-old has also been very productive offensively, slashing .255/.326/.407 with a .733 OPS, 10 home runs, 40 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 37 runs scored in 87 games played. Chisholm is currently on track to play in over 100 games for just the second time in his five years in the big leagues. "This is the first time there has been genuine interest in Chisholm as injuries, and his personality have kept other clubs wondering what they would be getting in return," Mish writes. Chisholm's power/speed combination would be even more intriguing with a contending team.
