6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Samuels said he will start in Week 14 against the Raiders, but that he and Stevan Ridley will split time in the backfield without James Conner (ankle). Head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that the team will use a committee approach with Conner out, and this confirms that. The Steelers may rotate the two backs and then ride the hot hand, but Samuels has slightly more RB2 upside in a great matchup.
