5 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/outfielder Jay Bruce is out of the starting lineup on Friday. Catcher Omar Narvaez (knee) is back in the lineup after taking a foul ball off his knee on Wednesday. He'll hit cleanup against A's starting pitcher Daniel Mengden. With Bruce out, Daniel Vogelbach and Edwin Encarnacion, hitting second and third respectively, will both be excellent DFS plays against Mengden. Narvaez has been one of the better hitting catchers this year with a .307/.377/.511 slash line, eight home runs, 25 runs and 20 RBI in his 137 at-bats.
