6 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Jay Bruce (quadriceps) said he's feeling good and is expected to return to the lineup on Friday against Rangers starter Shelby Miller. The Mariners gave Bruce an extra day to rest up on Thursday to make sure he's 100 percent. Bruce leads the team with nine home runs but is hitting a weak .208 (16-for-77) with 27 strikeouts and eight walks. The left-handed slugger will give fantasy owners power and RBI, but will hurt your average.
