Jarrett Allen Shines Against Former Team
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen returned to the lineup with a banger against Brooklyn on Monday, finishing a 117-112 loss with 20 points and 15 rebounds on 7-for-15 shooting. He went 6-for-9 with his free throws and delivered a couple of assists with two turnovers and one block in 37 minutes. Allen was back after missing three games with a non-COVID related illness. He's set for a huge run, with Evan Mobley (elbow) out, although the two have also played pretty well together this season. Allen has a superb matchup on Saturday against Orlando and Wednesday clash with the Suns is a decent one for him as well, with centers shooting over 51 percent against Phoenix this season, while averaging 16.7 rebounds per 48 minutes.
