Jaren Jackson Jr. Scores Game-High 25 Points
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. led the charge in Tuesday's 98-91 victory over Toronto, scoring a game-high 25 points on 8-for-14 shooting. He was 4-for-7 from downtown and 5-for-6 at the line with six rebounds, one steal and a season-high five blocks. Jackson Jr. also matched a season high here with 34 minutes. The 22-year-old is expected to do a bit more heavy lifting with Ja Morant (knee) on the shelf. Jackson Jr. has a perfect matchup to shine next as Memphis gets ready to host OKC. The Thunder own the second-worst defensive record in the league against opposing power forwards, and they don't know too much about rebounding either.
