Jamison Crowder In Danger Of Missing Week 7
6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle) is not expected to practice at all this week until at least Friday "for sure," according to head coach Jay Gruden. That means that Crowder is probably already on the wrong side of questionable for Week 7 against the Cowboys after missing Week 6. Many folks pegged Crowder as a breakout candidate in 2018 with quarterback Alex Smith in town, but that hasn't happened, as he has 13 catches on 20 targets for 134 yards and a touchdown through four games. He's not a must-hold in shallow leagues. With Crowder out on Sunday, tight end Vernon Davis led the team with 48 receiving yards in the win over Carolina. Paul Richardson, Josh Doctson and Maurice Harris would be the top three receivers if Crowder sat out again, but tight end Jordan Reed is probably the best fantasy bet for production against an underrated Dallas defense.
