Jameson Taillon May Not Make Final Start
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said starting pitcher Jameson Taillon may not make his final start of the season on Saturday against the Reds. "Talked to Jamo, and want to make a good decision. We’re still working through some information to make a good decision," Hurdle said. This is just about managing Taillon's workload -- he's up to 185 innings on the season. He's been excellent in the second half and would finish with a 14-9 record, career-low 3.16 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 if he doesn't pitch this weekend. Taillon is a big piece of this rotation moving forward.
