James Paxton To Start Monday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (illness) is lined up to start on Monday against the A's. Paxton has been the team's ace all season, but he hasn't made a start since Sept. 7 due to the flu and pneumonia. With Paxton unlikely to go very long on Monday against a dangerous hitting team, he's more of a risk for fantasy owners in mixed leagues. The good news is that he is lined up for two starts next week, with the next one likely coming to close out the year next weekend against the Rangers. Paxton will be more worthy of starting in that one.
