James Paxton Should Return In 5-6 Days
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (back) had his back stiffen up on him on Sunday after a 35-pitch bullpen session on Saturday. Manager Scott Servais is confident that the issue is minor and that Paxton can return from the disabled list to make a start in the next five to six days. Paxton has been the team's best starter this year and is 8-4 with a 3.70 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and career-best 11.7 K/9 in 20 starts. Fantasy owners will want to throw him back in their lineups whenever he returns, regardless of matchup.
