James Paxton On Track To Start Saturday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (forearm) is on track to come off the disabled list and start against the A's on Saturday. Seattle's ace has missed his last few starts after taking a comebacker off his forearm in his most recent start, but he should be immediately re-inserted into starting lineups this weekend. He is 10-5 with a 3.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and career-high 11.4 K/9 over 24 starts. Felix Hernandez will return to the bullpen when Paxton returns.
