James Paxton Dealing With Form Of Pneumonia
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (illness) is dealing with a "form of pneumonia" and is not with the team on their road trip against the Angels this weekend. Manager Scott Servais is hoping that Paxton is back during the 10-game road trip. The left-hander has been the team's best pitcher, so this is also a bummer for his fantasy owners. Paxton is 11-6 on the season with a 3.83 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 194 K's in 150 1/3 innings over 26 starts. Here's hoping he can make a start sometime next week for his fantasy owners.
