James Conner's Status In Question For Week 17
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner's (quadriceps) availability for Week 17 against the Ravens is "very much in question," according to head coach Mike Tomlin. Conner left the game early in Week 16, and he's been battling injury for much of the 2019 season. He's been a disappointment as an RB1 as a result. You can't count on him being active this weekend if you're still playing for something. If Conner does play, he'll be an RB1/2 at risk of re-injury. Benny Snell Jr. would likely handle most of the early down work if Conner misses another game, with Jaylen Samuels likely to work passing downs. The Steelers must beat the Ravens, who will be resting some starters, and have the Titans lose to get into the playoffs.
