5 years agoLos Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee) has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Cardinals. Ramsey suffered a knee injury in the Week 16 game against the 49ers last weekend, and it makes no sense for the team to push him after the Rams were eliminated from postseason contention. Head coach Sean McVay said Ramsey has a Grade 2 sprain of his LCL. He should recover in four to six weeks and isn't expected to need surgery. Ramsey will finish 2019 with 33 tackles, one interception and a forced fumble in nine games with the Rams after being traded from Jacksonville. His absence on Sunday will be good news for Cardinals receiver Christian Kirk, who will be a boom/bust WR3.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
