1 year agoAtlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson has had a special training partner in the summer as he's prepared for his third NBA season. The 21-year-old shares a trainer with LeBron James in Chris Johnson, and he's had the opportunity to work with the Association's all-time leading scorer in Los Angeles. "He's giving me pointers on how to do certain moves, how to be more effective with certain moves, little tricks, just kind of when we're working out," Johnson told Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "So, just hearing that from him, having that as someone that I can reach out and ask questions to now, you know, it's cool." Johnson made big strides in his game last season, even earning a few starts and recording 5.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 14.9 minutes. He looks primed for further improvement after working with a great like James, while John Collins' departure could also benefit Johnson.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
