Jalen Hurts Looks To Close Out The Season Strong In Week 17
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts will get the start in Week 17 to close out the Eagles season against the Washington Football Team. With the Eagles eliminated from playoff contention after last week's loss, it wasn't immediately clear who would get the start under center, but coach Doug Pederson announced that it would be the rookie Hurts. Hurts has been a top-13 fantasy quarterback in all three of his starts, including the overall QB1 in Week 14. That's still only led to one actual win though. The Eagles will be trying to play spoiler as a Washington win will land them in the playoffs as NFC East "champions" this season. Hurts is a QB1 with upside despite a tough defense on the other side of the ball.
