Jalen Brunson Notches 25 Points, Nine Assists Against Lakers
3 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson had a very good shooting night with an 11-for-18 mark from the field in Wednesday's overtime loss to the Lakers, and it allowed him to post a game-high 25 points with three rebounds, nine assists and two turnovers in 38 minutes. Additionally, he managed to hit multiple treys for the first time in eight games. Brunson continues to be an attractive fantasy piece as long as Luka Doncic (ankle) is sidelined. The Slovenian has already been ruled out for Sunday's clash with Minnesota, so Brunson's run as a starter will continue for at least one more game. He's averaged 20.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists in the starting unit this season.
