Jahmyr Gibbs Playing All Over The Place
1 year agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is likely to see plenty of chances as a pass-catcher this upcoming season. The organization has made it a point of emphasis to move Gibbs all over the place. The 21-year-old has seen snaps in backfield, as a slot receiver, and wide as an outside receiver as well. It sounds like the rookie back is going to be heavily involved in the offense right away. The expectation is that he'll replace DeAndre Swift as the pass-catcher in the backfield. Last season, Swift saw 70 targets, but Gibbs could easily surpass that. Gibbs is looking like he'll be an excellent PPR option heading into the 2023 campaign.
