Jaguars Not Looking To Trade For Quarterback
6 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are not considering trading for a quarterback despite public calls for them to acquire one, according to sources familiar with the team's thinking. There have been suggestions and speculations in recent weeks that they could be willing to trade for a quarterback to supplement or supplant Blake Bortles, but they won't trade for Eli Manning, Tyrod Taylor or Nick Foles. Bortles has thrown eight interceptions and lost two fumbles on the year and remains highly inconsistent for fantasy owners, but he is the least of their worries. Not having running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) for most of this year hasn't helped Bortles' cause. He'll remain mostly a QB2 for fantasy purposes.
