Jaguars Having Trade Talks About Leonard Fournette
5 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars have had trade talks with other teams involving running back Leonard Fournette, according to league sources. Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020, and it's a situation that should be watched closely as next week's draft approaches. The 25-year-old played in 15 games in 2019 and had a career-high 1,152 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 265 carries. He also added 76 receptions for 522 yards through the air. Fournette's 4.3 yards per carry still left a lot to be desired, and he just couldn't find the end zone enough to really help his fantasy owners out. The former fourth overall pick in 2017 remains an injury risk, but he might be a more attractive low-end RB1 with a change of scenery.
