Jaguars Have High Expectations For Blake Bortles
6 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said he wants "zero turnovers" from quarterback Blake Bortles in 2018. While that's obviously unrealistic, Bortles didn't have a single turnover in three playoff games last year and also finished the season with a career-low 13 interceptions. During the preseason, Bortles had three picks and a 67.3 completion rate. Bortles took a step forward last year, but that might've been his ceiling. The Jags remain a defensive-oriented, run-first squad, so Bortles remains nothing more than a QB2.
