Jaguars Go With Tight End In Sixth Round
5 years agoWith the 206th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars took Georgia Tech tight end Tyler Davis. The Jaguars mostly focused on improving their defense early in the draft, but Davis makes it three straight picks on the offensive side of the ball. Davis took a step back in 2019 in college. He has the size (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) and athleticism, but he's raw as a prospect and shouldn't be expected to produce in 2020 despite the team's lack of talent at the position. Davis will probably have to prove himself as a blocker first in order to see playing time. He's a project.
