Jae Crowder Sinks Eight Triples Against Rockets
4 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder looked like prime Larry Bird against the Rockets on Monday, hitting 8-for-12 from downtown en route to 26 points in a 126-120 win. The veteran forward picked up all of his points in the first half which he finished with 8-for-9 shooting from behind the arc. Crowder didn't attempt a single two-pointer in the game and registered two rebounds, two assists and one steal before fouling out. It was an amazing night for Crowder and the Suns, who posted a franchise record with 25 made triples. Scoring will come a lot tougher against the Heat squad on Tuesday, but Phoenix should have another big offensive night on Thursday against the Kings, who are ranked 30th in defensive efficiency.
