Jacob Stallings Taking A Seat On Thursday
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs. Michael Perez is getting the start behind the plate and batting seventh in the game. Stallings served as the team's cleanup hitter in each of the last three games. Over 38 games on the season, Stallings is slashing .240/.343/.421 with four home runs, 10 doubles, 18 RBI and 12 runs. He has some clear value in two-catcher leagues and is also worth roster consideration in deep leagues and NL-only leagues.
