Jack Doyle Expected To Land On Injured Reserve
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle is expected to be placed on Injured Reserve after suffering an unspecified injury in the Week 12 win over the Dolphins, according to a source. Doyle missed time earlier this year with an injury and had just two touchdowns while catching 26 of 33 targets for 245 yards in six games. He was more of a blocking tight end but was in play as a low-end TE1 for fantasy owners given how much the Colts use their tight ends. With Doyle likely out the rest of the season, it locks Eric Ebron in as the main pass-catching tight end. Ebron caught two more scores in Week 12 and now has 11 on the season. He'll be a strong TE1 moving forward with Mo Alie-Cox backing up him when healthy.
