Jack Campbell Wins Third Start On The Bounce
3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jack Campbell won his third consecutive start on Thursday, pushing away 24 pucks in a 2-1 overtime victory against the Lightning. He was beaten by Patrick Maroon in the opening frame, but the Maple Leafs made a very late comeback effort and helped the 29-year-old to improve his record for the season to 5-2-1. Campbell has allowed only three total goals during his win streak, improving his goals-against average for the year to 1.86. He's registered a .932 save percentage with one shutout. Campbell's good form will be tested next by a tough Boston team on Saturday.
