Ja Morant Puts Together Nice Line In Just 29 Minutes
4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant needed only 29 minutes of action to rack up 24 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in Tuesday's 133-104 victory over Dallas. He also had one steal with four turnovers, while shooting 7-for-13 from the field and 7-for-8 at the foul line with a 3-for-6 record from deep. Morant entered the contest after combining for only 24 points in two games. Memphis won despite missing Jonas Valanciunas (back) and Morant had to do a lot of heavy lifting on the offensive end, but it all worked out in the end. The Grizzlies now get a mouth-watering matchup in a two-game set against the Kings and their league-worst defense.
