J.T. Realmuto Day-To-Day With Wrist Injury
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto (wrist) was lifted from Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after suffering a left wrist injury. He was replaced in the game by Andrew Knapp. After the game, Phillies manager Joe Girardi told reporters that Realmuto is day-to-day. Realmuto went 0-for-3 in Saturday's game before leaving. He's now slashing .222/.349/.444 through ten games in May after posting a .329/.425/.507 slash line in April. Hopefully this wrist injury won't cost him too much time, but it there's a good chance he'll be forced to sit out on Sunday.
