5 years agoLos Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon said that the team is stretching pitcher J.C. Ramirez out as a starter this spring. It makes sense with Shohei Ohtani (elbow) not debuting on the mound until May and with Griffin Canning (elbow) possibly opening the season on the injured list. Ramirez only threw eight innings in the big leagues in 2019 and 6 2/3 in 2018. The 31-year-old right-hander can be ignored in mixed leagues but could be a DFS streamer and worth a pickup in AL-only leagues if he's making starts for the Halos early in the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
