5 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Isiah Kiner-Falefa (finger) left the game early with a sprained right middle finger on Thursday and may need to go on the injured list. “I don’t like the way it looks to be honest with you,” manager Chris Woodward said. “If it’s a situation where he is going to be down, I don’t think we have any choice, not with the games we have coming up.” Jeff Mathis is behind the plate on Friday and is hitting ninth against A's starter Brett Anderson. With a doubleheader coming up on Saturday, don't be surprised if Texas sends Kiner-Falefa to the injured list and calls up either Adam Moore or Jett Bandy from Triple-A Nashville.
