Isaiah Stewart Records First Double-Double Of The Season
3 years agoDetroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart found his way into the double-double column for the first time this season in Tuesday's loss to the Blazers, scoring 15 points on 4-for-6 shooting and grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds. He was 7-for-8 at the charity stripe and completed his night with one assist and one block in 33 minutes. Stewart's sophomore campaign hasn't quite gone according to plan so far, with him even making headlines for wrong reasons, but the Pistons aren't competitive and there should be more opportunities available for the 20-year-old later in the season. The next matchup against the Suns and Deandre Ayton is a particularly tough one for Stewart, but he should start next week with a bang, as there's a home game against OKC scheduled for Monday. Centers have been crushing the Thunder on the glass all season.
