Indians Avoid Arbitration With Francisco Lindor
6 years agoThe Cleveland Indians avoided salary arbitration with shortstop Francisco Lindor on Friday by signing him to a one-year, $10.55 million deal, according to a source. Lindor can do it all, and he proved it with a .277/.352/.871 slash line, 38 home runs, 92 RBI, 129 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in 158 games for the Tribe. He was second in the American League Rookie of the Year voting in 2015 and has been an All-Star the last three seasons. He's RotoBaller's top-ranked fantasy shortstop and No. 4 overall player. He'll be a first-round selection in fantasy drafts.
