Hyun-Jin Ryu Won't Need Rehab Assignment
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) will not need a rehab start and will return to the starting rotation in the next week, according to manager Dave Roberts. It's great news for the Dodgers, as Ryu was pitching very well before his injury, going 2-0 with a nice 3.07 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings. The left-hander is a great asset in all fantasy leagues when he's healthy, which hasn't been for very often in the last couple seasons. When he's back, expect the Dodgers to move youngster Julio Urias to the bullpen.
