Hyun-Jin Ryu To Start Game 2 Of NLCS
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu will start Game 2 of the National League Championship Series against the Brewers on Saturday. Walker Buehler will go in Game 3 on Monday in Los Angeles, while left-hander Rich Hill will start Game 4 on Tuesday. Ryu has been excellent so far this postseason and was great during the year in his 15 starts, going 7-3 with a 1.97 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and career-high 9.7 K/9. Ryu is a fine DFS play, but the Brewers were also fourth in the National League this year with a .742 OPS against left-handers, so there is also some risk there in a hitter-friendly park. Buehler struggled in his Division Series start but was solid all year long. He might be more enticing back home in LA in a more hitter-friendly environment.
