6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) was scheduled to throw on flat ground on Saturday and then throw a bullpen session early next week as he works his way back from a strained left groin muscle in his last start. The left-hander was off to a great start, going 2-0 with a 3.07 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings in his three starts. He had an ERA under 2.00 in his 15 regular season starts in 2018, too, but injuries continue to be his kryptonite. Ryu needs to be stashed in all leagues, as he shouldn't miss too many starts. LA is going with a bullpen game on Saturday against the Brewers with Ryu out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
