Hunter Henry Signing Franchise Tender
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry is signing his franchise tender on Monday, according to a source. It will lock him in for 2020 and guarantees his roughly $10 million salary. The two sides can still work on a long-term extension up until July 15. Henry hasn't played a full season in his four years, including missing all of 2018 due to injury, but he can be one of the top-tier tight ends in fantasy and real life if he can stay healthy for a full season. The 25-year-old second-round pick in 2016 caught a career-high 55 passes for 652 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games in 2019. Henry has 17 career TDs in 41 games played and will be a risk/reward TE1 for fantasy owners.
