Hayden Hurst Working Out With Matt Ryan
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst told ESPN's Mina Kimes that he has been driving back and forth from Jacksonville to Atlanta the last four weeks to throw with quarterback Matt Ryan. "That’s helping me a lot," Hurst told Kimes. "That’s really going to pay off during training camp." The Falcons traded for Hurst with the intention of him taking over the pass-catching tight end duties after Austin Hooper left in free agency. In a tight end-friendly system in Atlanta, Hurst could easily shatter his career highs of 30 catches, 349 yards and two touchdowns posted last year with Baltimore. The former first-round pick is expected to take a huge Year 3 leap with his new team, putting him in position for TE1 returns.
