6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielders Harrison Bader (hamstring) and Tyler O'Neill (elbow) were both scheduled to take batting practice on Monday. Bader is expected to be activated from the injured list on Wednesday or Friday, while O'Neill will go on a rehab assignment this week. Both players were also shagging fly balls during batting practice on Monday. While both Jose Martinez and Dexter Fowler have taken advantage of more playing time by swinging hot bats in the last week, both Bader and O'Neill should return and see valuable playing time when they're fully healthy. That doesn't mean you shouldn't take advantage of Martinez and Fowler while they continue to hit and play every day.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
