Harrison Bader Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Harrison Bader is dealing with right hamstring tightness, which is why he's not playing on Sunday in Mexico against the Reds. It's unclear how long this injury might sideline Bader, but his owners need to keep an eye on his status heading into next week. The 24-year-old gives the Cards excellent defense in center field, but he's hitting only .179 (7-for-39) with two home runs and five RBI, so perhaps a little bit of rest will be good for him. Tyler O'Neill, who is playing center on Sunday, would benefit if Bader needs to sit out more games.
