5 years agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Hanser Alberto had three singles off Astros left-hander Wade Miley on Sunday and leads the majors with a .425 average against southpaws this year with 34 hits in his 80 at-bats against them. Alberto is 23-for-103 (.223) against right-handers. The 26-year-old is hitting a nice .311/.326/.393 with three home runs, 16 runs scored, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in 183 at-bats on the season. As long as he continues to play mostly every day on a rebuilding Orioles squad, Alberto has appeal in AL-only leagues for his positional versatility.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
