Hanley Ramirez Plans To Plan Next Season
6 years agoFree-agent first baseman/designated hitter Hanley Ramirez is working out in the Dominican Republic and plans to play winter ball before attempting a comeback in 2019. Han-Ram played in just 44 games for the Red Sox before being released in May, hitting .254/.313/.395 with six home runs and 29 RBI. If healthy, Ramirez could get a shot somewhere on a minor league, likely with an American League team. He'll be 35 next season and is unlikely to be much of an asset in mixed leagues if he makes it back up to the big leagues next year.
