Gregory Soto To Miss The Rest Of The Season
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Gregory Soto (finger) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left finger fracture on Sunday. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2021 season. The 26-year-old operated as the primary closer for the Tigers for the bulk of the year, earning his first All-Star Game nod along the way. He converted 18 of his 19 save opportunities while posting a 3.39 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. With Soto out, Michael Fulmer should be the Tigers' primary closer the rest of the way and he should be added by any fantasy manager in need of saves for the final weeks of the year.
