6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder) played nine innings with High-A Bradenton and is scheduled to serve as the designated hitter on Thursday. Polanco is recovering from serious left shoulder surgery last year, but he looks to be on track to make his season debut with the Pirates early next month. He hit .254 last season but also managed a career-high 23 home runs, 81 RBI and 12 stolen bases in just 130 games. Polanco needs to be stashed in all formats, as he can be a solid fantasy option when he's fully healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
