Gregory Polanco Injured Friday, Not Playing Saturday
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (knee, shoulder) injured both his left knee and left shoulder during an awkward slide in the game on Friday, and he is out of the lineup on Saturday as a result. Pablo Reyes is playing right field and hitting sixth against Marlins left-hander Wei-Yin Chen on Saturday. Reyes is a weak DFS option. Polanco's injuries don't sound too serious, but don't be surprised if he needs a few days to rest. He is batting .254/.340/.499 with 23 home runs, 81 RBI, 75 runs scored and 12 stolen bases. Polanco needs to be owned in all leagues.
