Gregory Polanco Could Miss Start Of 2019 Season
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder, knee) had surgery on his labrum in addition to the stabilization of his dislocated left shoulder. The typical recovery time for this type of surgery is around seven to ninth months, which could affect Polanco's readiness for the start of the regular season. There's a good chance it does, which will certainly lower Polanco's value in fantasy drafts. His expected delayed start could also means he gets off to a slow start once again. Polanco hit .254/.340/.499 with 23 home runs, 81 RBI, 75 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 130 games this year.
