6 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (foot) was injured in Week 1 against the Cowboys and will not return. At least the veteran tight end caught two passes for 33 yards before returning. He was questionable for this game with a minor back injury, but he suffered another foot injury in the season opener. This is a big worry after Olsen played in just seven games in 2017 with a foot injury. It remains to be seen if this new foot ailment is related to last year's injury. Olsen might be questionable, at best, for Week 2. If he's forced to miss additional time, Chris Manhertz and rookie Ian Thomas will have bigger roles on offense. If anything, an Olsen extended absence would be better news for wide receivers Devin Funchess, Torrey Smith and rookie DJ Moore.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
