5 years agoCleveland Indians outfielders Greg Allen and Jake Bauers have been optioned to the minors on Thursday. The Indians added outfielders Yasiel Puig and Franmil Reyes at the trade deadline, so that's why Allen and Bauers were sent down. Allen hit .230/.296/.381 with two home runs during his 47 games with Cleveland. Bauers hit .233/.308/.379, so neither player was impressive, but both should be back in September.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
