6 years agoThe Carolina Panthers placed kicker Graham Gano (knee) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, ending his season. Gano missed the last two games with a left knee injury that he suffered in practice. He made 14 of his 16 field-goal tries and 30 of his 33 extra points this season. Chandler Catanzaro will continue to kick in the final two games after making both his field goals and all three of his extra points the last two games. With quarterback Cam Newton (shoulder) shut down to close out the year, Carolina's offense can't be trusted other than running back Christian McCaffrey. Tight end Jason Vander Laan was signed from the practice squad in a corresponding move.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
