5 years agoHouston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said that outfielder George Springer's (hamstring) injury was "not as dramatic as we had feared." Springer was placed on the injured list on Saturday, but he might not miss too much time. This is exactly what the Astros and fantasy owners were hoping for. Springer was having an MVP caliber season before his injury on Friday night and leads the American League in home runs (17) and RBI (43). Jake Marisnick should see most of the extra playing time with Springer out, but Jake Fisher was also called up Saturday and could factor into the equation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
