6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez (ankle) left the Game 4 start in the second inning of the National League Championship Series against the Dodgers on Tuesday after rolling his ankle. The left-hander was unlikely to stay in the game much longer as the opener, but this will put a real strain on Milwaukee's bullpen in this one. Freddy Peralta relieved Gonzalez. The southpaw hadn't recorded an out in the second inning and allowed a run on two hits and a walk in his lone inning of work in the first inning.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
